The combination is absolutely correct, and it will not unlock. Ended up discarding and replacing with a masterlock version. There is no way i forgot the combo it just stopped working.

Sm sound odd im not actually using it as a bike lock so the security of the being out in public is not a concern of mine but from feeling the item with the thickness of the cable it would take some effort to cut the cable on this

Ultimately no matter what you use if a thief is walking around with bolt cutters theyll be able to get through just about any bike lock

Make sure you read the entire description because it gives you appropriate warnings as does the packaging its very easy to set the code to whatever you want and its easy for you to change the code if you want to however what that also means is if you have a child using the lock whos playing with it they can easily change the code and once you change the code you have to remember it if you dont the lock becomes completely useless

Scenario your child is using this as a bike lock and is messing around with it and messes with the dial accidentally resets the code doesnt realize it and keeps playing with the diles then when they go to use the bike lock again they wont be able to because they dont know the code that they set

This is a manual lock not an electronic lock so theres not a way to reset the code without knowing the previous code

I did spray in some lubricant inside the mechanism to protect it from moisturerust just in case
