Cut myself immediately the first time using it having gotten used to improper downward pressure to get my recently factory sharpened shun to cut onions instead of the nice smooth sawing action that cuts like butter the cut on my finger was very deep razor sharp incredibly clean almost surgical no pain for a while it didnt even bleed it was so clean

The grind isnt straight and many more flaws on the finish work

The damascene steel is real i polished the end etched it and verified at least 3 separate billets
