Well great news this worked great i am able to use my capture card to stream and have no issues with quality

I took a look inside and the build quality is excellent

I was having issues with the avermedia ezrecorder er310 recorder and hdcp

Lastly i used my macbook pro and quicktime to preview the video input source from the blackmagic capture card via thunderbolt

Also bonus seems like my chromecast was able to power it directly

    If your el gato does has a signal but black picture no audio you must unplug the usb from the el gato hd60s and replug it back in
