Okay so i stopped buying usb thumb drives from amazon a while back when i got scammed by a usb drive that was a fake 32gb drive masquerading as a 128gb drive to be fair it was sold by a third party retailer which should have clued me in

It used to be they would just put a fake label or sticker on a smaller drive now they actually flash firmware on the drives and abuse the algorithm built into the drives to solve for space decay and make the drive report false values in an os like windows or linux the fake i got was a label swap fake it was a genuine 32gb usb2

So the drive is actually only about 114gb as recognized by a pc
