The transfer data from the ixpand to the iphone is via bluetooth and not by the lightning connection and it’s disconnect.

The case kept saying that it was not connecting to my phone and would not let me download any of my music onto the app.

Since june 28, 2019 you cannot download the necessary app sandisk ixpand memory case.
