Had trouble getting to work but was my fault did not have card pushed in enough

The slider doesnt just hide the usb connection it moves the sd card in and out like a tape deck or cd slot reader minus the eject motors

The slider also locks in the retracted position and you must press down the slider to extend it drawing the sd card inside the unit

I learned that before you extend the usb reader for insertion into the computer you must place the card in the reader and push down the card all the way until there is just a few centimeters of the top edge showing
