The quality of the phots with the kit lens a sony 20mm f2
I wasnt too impressed with the photo or video quality over the kit lens to make it feel unique enough to keep
In this case i went with the samyang

Only drawback is autofocusing but that would increase the price
Build quality and feel overall are excellent and casdistortion and bokeh are also excellent for what is is and the price
The best thing going for this 12 mm lens is its price
Competitiveness
I compared this against the much more expensive voigtlander nokton 17mm
Great lens used with my sony a5100
Im a photo hobbiest and fairly critical of lenses
It seems to deliver a sharp picture when mounted on the sony a6300

The glass is relatively clear although there is a bit of distortion around the outer reaches of the shots
