It definately dramatically improved picture quality and the user interface to equal my 2016 samsung

The tv is limited in achieving deep blacks because its using old technology but the picture quality is still definitely better

The tv i am using the kit on is a samsung un50hu6950 50inch 4k ultra hd 60hz smart led tv 2014 model

Its a little pricey but more affordable than a new tv
