Pros

Plays both blu-rays and dvds very well, which it's obviously supposed to do. Connects easily to wifi. It steams netflix and pandora great!

Cons

Don't waste your time. Except for this junk. Very inconvenient.

The only way to unfreeze it is to unplug it and plug it back in. It freezes often, and the commands from the remote either do not work at all, or have ridiculously lengthy delays. It seems to be a samsung issue with no resolve so far.

The player's downfall is the streaming. The dvds are okay, but i am totally frustrated and fed up with netflix streaming. Invest wisely if you want a wifi netflix device.

Consloads discs slowly. No software updates offered for it. Seems to be the compatibility issue. I can infer after using if for a year that the problem is poor programming of the unit's microprocessor - the firmware.

Netflix freezes incessantly. The only way to revive it is to unplug/replug the power cord.

The picture quality is very good the upconvert feature for dvds is much cleaner and smoother than other dvd players i have purchased

I jammed the tray and broke it

If by some miracle it does connect the speeds are extremely slow and applications crash

So glad that amazon had this used one for sale

Got it for around 40 so it is kinda hard to knock it

I also used my voltage converter 110v in conjunction for places like asia and euroup since this is a north america spec

Like wise i have been to asia and europe and their brand are no match in comparison to this model

As the other countries use higher voltage
