    The biggest problem with the sr850s was by far the horrible factory pleather pads.

    The sound is extremely balanced and nothing stands out more than anything else so certain people might not like the fact that the bass isn't as punchy as in other sets, but that's the entire point in a set of reference headphones.

    Not a huge deal but as that was a selling point for me, i'm disappointed to find that they don't have that feature.

    The seal on the ear cups gets so tight that i think these things are literally pressurizing my ears.
