Pros
There is no other book in the world that holds more nostalgia, or love, than sam and the firefly. One for my granddaughter. One of my faves as a kid.
Great story and colorful art. I love the way the firefly and the owl play at night. This story takes the joy of those moments and creates a story that children enjoy.
Cons
The firefly causes car crashes and plays mean tricks on people like telling them a movie is free so they rush the theater. Sam keeps telling him to stop (without explaining why he should stop) and gus just ignores him and keeps playing bad tricks.
