I have had my salt and pepper mills for about a year and they have consistently produced fine to coarse Himalayan salt and peppercorns with an easy turning of the mechanism on the bottom of the mills. They're easy to refill, and best of all, easy to see when they need to be refilled. They are also easy to keep clean, both the glass containers as well as the coarseness controls with can, over time become filled with salt and pepper dust. I use a toothbrush that I save for that purpose. Many of the other sets do not come with an attractive and useful holder as this set does. For the price especially, it's hard to beat the form and function this set provides.  Read Less
