Pros
Not only is it beautiful, but the craftsmanship is superb.
The shouldered style of the stacked leather handle, gives you better handling and a positive feel. The knife is aesthetically very pleasing and has a nice feel to it. I'm not sure what the grease was for but it’s still a nice knife.
Cons
It had been dropped on a hard surface prior to being shipped. These are total junk.

It’s a great looking knife the grip is perfect completely aligned with the handle and sharp as heck
Also the pictures look better than the product itself
The grind a little off and the blade is not exactly in line with the handle like ive read other people write about

Overall it’s a nice knife but then i opened the package it was in the blade was covered in a strange greasy substance

This is a perkins knife and i assume is manufactured in pakistan

Those dealers who are having their knives made in pakistan must have better quality control of their product

Of this particular knife the blade is slightly off center and canters slightly which can be detected by looking from the handle to the tip of the blade

However another concern would be that the brass buttcap is probably cemented or glued and not pinnedriveted as it should be for this heavy of a knife
