The only reason i gave it 4 stars is because the volume just doesnt get very loud unless the kids are screaming at which point i can hear them without the monitor

We bought this monitor as a replacement for our old video monitor that decided that it wanted to stop working in the middle of the night 80 of the time

The sound comes in crystal clear and there isn’t a terrible static noise hum that the majority of other monitors have when there isn’t any notable sound coming through

I bought this unit to monitor the washerdryer in the laundry room

Conversation comes across louder than the noise of the machines which may be due to the unit dampening background noise so that monitoring an infant if used for that purpose is not adversely impacted
