More than pleased with the quality and very happy with the origin of this saffron.
I love the origin of the product.
The quality is very good and the expiration date gave me a shelf life of 30 months.
This saffron was fragrant with a little variation in color which i would expect from a natural product.

Baking soda (passed) – putting a strand into water with baking soda increased the rate of bleeding yellow into the water and did not turn red.

I did not have a reason to distrust this seller but given how expensive saffron is there are some that will try to sell a fake.

The saffron was well packaged in a small glass bottle with a plastic seal that first had to be removed followed by a red strip of security seal tape across the top followed by a tight fitting cork (not sure if this is real cork or man-made but looks like real although this is not important as far as the product goes).
