Sturdy and easily cleanable. Base is solid, but worry about corrosion at the welding joints. Another upside is, it's stainless!

This spoon is purpose built for separating yolks from egg *. It separates the * from the yoke and you get a complete yoke that goes into your other bowl. I use this spoon to separate eggs for custards and meringue.

It's positively easy to clean and sanitize. But it cleans easy and very sturdy.

Just use the eggshell. When you shake it to try get more egg * down, the yolk escapes. Not for regular chicken eggs.

Git it last week and only used 3-4 times. Not recommended at all. It's pretty worthless. I find it more frustrating and time consuming.
