Once you get used to it not having a dial is very easy. Above the 3 dots there is a maximum heat available which is indicated by a red strip. I also like the fact it switches off when not used for several minutes.

The position of the heat control on the top means that my hand accidently catches it and changes the setting rather frustrating to have to keep an eye on it and readjust so often

The iron is fine except that the temperature button is just beyond where i hold the iron and as my hand tends to slip forward the temperature button gets depressed and raises the temperature when i dont want it to

I was delighted with my first one and when it stopped steaming after over 6 years use i initially decided to try an alternative
