I thought my hopes of finding a no plastic kettle were scuppered but by reading the reviews a few pointed out that the plastic piece could be removed

But in north america the wiring is costly and not suitable for the kitchen as you cant get a 240v gfci

Wonderful itemonly disappointment is that you can’t see how far it has been filled up without looking inside the kettle

However there is no outside marker to see how much you are boiling so you have to look inside

This kettle good apart from it’s very noisy for some reason when it boils
