There are virtually no choices for hardshell 15 laptop cases besides the 90 pelican case

I used it for a few months that way before deciding to get a new one and it works just fine with no zipper for backpack travel i wouldnt recommend carrying it in your hand or arms without a zipper

Only downsides are that the color is pretty light so it tends to get dirty and the stitching looks crappy in some places
