I think well try to use zip ties under the rungs to lock them in place although that means it wont fold up nicely into the bag it came with however it will save on set up time each time he wants to use it
However he said the rungs move around too easily and slide out of position and because of this it takes awhile to set up and get all the rungs equidistant
