This seems to be a commercial quality scoop
I had used an ice scoop working on someone elses boat and i hadnt liked the type with the handle sticking out the back

Have had one for over 15 yrs and am happy to see current version is identical in every way down the the weightso it didnt get flimsier
I ended up soaking it peeling off the labels and then after it dried i used goofoff to remove any residual adhesive

I bought this to scoop sand into weighted tent bags at the fourcorners of a beach tent and it worked like a champ

The last one was the exact same and lasted about 6 years outside in a salt bin before it cracked

I will however fault it for coming with overlysticky labels on the bottom and worse some kind of superglue like adhesive that was randomly on the side of it

The inside of the padded envelope is shipped in had stuck to it and had to be removed

There were bar code stickers on the bottom to be removed also and they left a sticky mess

The leading edge is a little worn but not broken cause the ice gets packed sometimes
