It fits and feels securely fastened despite one of the tabs on the rear not fully seating down. The waterproof cover over the keyboard fits on the keys. The keyboard protector is very stretchy and soft.

This fits my macbook pro perfectly! I have a macbook pro that is mid-2012 and this fits perfectly. Makes my 2012 mbp look new again. The price is very reasonable for the look of an old macbook pro 2011.

Cons

It is very loose it fell off the table when i picked up my laptop. The bottom is now unusable because the clips broke off. The only positive thing my about it, it comes with the keyboard protector.

Mine is 2012 a1278 but the case goes on my mac but does not stay on. This one cracked within the first month and now it's to the point where i have to completely replace it.
