Pros

On windows or android this device has some amazing capabilities. Works great on both my linux and windows laptop computers. Linux machines are a bit more tricky, but there is plenty of guides and tutorials.

Cons

The rtl software is cumbersome to install and quite fragmented, especially on windows 10. There is a design flaw in these units that allows the usb shielding to be used as an antenna, causing the front end to be overloaded with rf.
