This is kind of true but not really you supposedly can cut the end piece only

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Once you cut you are not getting any more length out of it

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

This is because you cant connect a strip to the cut end

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I can imagine people rounding the first or second corner of their tv and decide to cut a strip to perfectly stop at the corner only to find out that you cant connect the cut end to the corner piece

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Had to use additional tape to make it stick to the tv

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

If you are able to remove your tv from the wall if its wall mounted and lay it on a carpet or rug screen down and lay out how the strips will go before you start peeling the adhesive off the back of the light strips

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

A note to anyone with a curved screen the light strips will be noticeable from the sides so i dont recommend these for curved screen tvs unless it is mounted in a way where no one will see the sides

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

They look great until you look at the side of the monitor and you can see all the light strips and it doesnt look great
