Ive noticed that messenger bags tend to be too heavy even without anything inside probably because either the sturdy canvas material is already heavy or because the padding that gives these bags structure is heavy for whatever reason

This rothco bag on the other hand is pretty light and stays light if you dont put too much stuff in it or anything heavy inside

The bad side of this is that its a bit floppy and somewhat unstructured itll even bend forward or sag on the underside depending on how the contents are fitting in it

The canvas material is somewhat soft in my opinion but might be rough or scratchy for those more sensitive

The durability seems average theres not a lot to break just because theres not a lot of complexity to the product or its parts in the first place but its also inexpensive so lets expect what we pay for
