I have black berry bushes and will tell you your hands dont get too sweaty very comfortable and the only times thorns went through is when grabbed a vine and squeezed really hard to test durability and i must say that that was the only time a couple of thorns went through

Think about it your hands are sweating thus moist thus making the dye come off and stick to your hands

While the arms of the gloves give excellent protection from rose thorns the claim that the hand portion of the gloves is thorn proof is not correct and i believe is a false claim
