Pros

Everything was packaged and labeled nicely. The seller is very communicative so if you have issues you can expect a quick response.

Everything is colonizing as expected. This lion's mane strain is a prolific colonizer in liquid culture medium.

Cons

Out of 20 agar plates, 6 quart grain jars. Too late to refund now. Seller needs to check quality of their lc on agar before selling.

If the first test on agar is nothing but fluff mycelium just throw it out to keep from wasting time and supplies on a bad strain. Slow growing and came contaminated.

And really happy with the turkey tail strain i got aswell i recommend it to go with this lions mane

Seriously impressed with the strength and speed that the innoculated grain became fully colonized

I’m not calling into question the quality of root’s cultures but i am a little upset that the product arrived broken

My second purchase was of some golden oyster liquid culture and it arrived with the plunger completely disassembled from the syringe body

The price is also great for what you get so i highly recommend

There was no bubble wrap or protective packaging

Shipping is rough and they can leak in the packaging

I used a couple of jars to inoculate larger jars of sawdust and a couple of the rye jars i fruited right in the jar
