No it doesnt put the screen to sleep when you close it and wakes it back when you open it again

My oldest daughter has a galaxy tab so i was excited to receive one for review purposes as cases are expensive and lets face it teenager girls like to change their accessories as much as they like to change their style of outfits which includes their phone and tablet cases

I would have given it five starts but the color was completely off instead of the powder blue you see in the pictures it is more of a bright blue almost neon

The cover bends back into a triangle which can be used to view your tab as a magazine

I think the only thing i would change on the case would be to make the viewing angle a little less steep when its in movie mode

In the few instances ive stood it up the angle just seems too severe
