Pros

For the price, it is unbeatable. This lens is so great for me personally in almost all facets. The lens hood is good, though does not lock into place quite as firmly as my other lenses.

this lens is frighteningly sharp at f/4 - f/8. Only $340 for this sharpness is a steal! It is surprisingly sharp, especially considering the price!

This is the fastest lens at this focal length. One of the best for asp-c sensor cameras. The lense itself is heavy compared to the kit 18-55 canon lense.

Great lens, fast. Great photos. Wil post pictures sometime. I love the images this lens is getting. It's an excellent lens.
