Pros
The instructions say to spin the crank backwards and apply the lube on the chain over the cassette. Use the same rag to wipe gummy deposits off the sprockets and derailleurs.
This is the first chain lube i've bought since some synlubes since around 2000. It cleans and lubes at the same time. Bomb lube, literally the gold standard.
Rock n roll is the only low-mess bicycle chain lube that i've been happy with. Recommended to me by a bike mechanic in a bike store. Keeps my mtb and road bike chain clean and pretty.
Longevity is good when dry. That means my chain should last even longer which saves money on chains and mating components.
Superb product. Great stuff. Love it. Highly recommend. This stuff is amazing.
Cons
Rock n roll gold is more than 90% degreaser and less than 10% paraffin wax bits floating in the yellow dyed petroleum distillates camouflaged to look like oil. Degreasing and lubricating cannot be done at the same time.

The most common problem is that stuff either works well but attracts dirt or doesnt attract dirt but doesnt last

For those riding daily and cleaning more periodically the direct application lube to each chain ring would be a better route

I didnt do it thoroughly enough the watery consistency got my chain very dirty quickly and gor on my pant hem when bumps splattered the excess

Put bike upside down wipe down your chain pedal w your hands while squirting on liberally go through gears while still hand pedaling give it one more wipe down let that lil puppy sit for a bit before you ride is best impo

Ive always been a fan of dry lubes but the 1x12 drivetrain on my new bike was extremely noisy in the lower gears
