Pros & Cons
Pros
Five minutes to setup, very cool. Bought lots of these to convert our warehouse to electronic instant start ballasts.
Bright and clear. No flickering. Flip the switch and had lights again. Also no more buzzing noise like the old ones.
Moving from the old oil filled ballasts to the electronic ballasts requires a little bit of re-routing of the wiring. The best part is that robertson made one lead(red) longer then the others, made for a easy retrofit older balist.
Easy install, so much quieter than the old mag ballasts. No whine, no flicker. Easy to install; works well.
Moved into a rental home with an 8-foot fluorescent fixture. Some refer to a 2-pin/end lamp as 2- pin; some call it 4-pin since there are 4 pins/lamp. Works well for my 2 lamp t12 fixtures.
Cons
The labeling for this ballast states that these tubes are supported. I assume this product is mislabeled because all three ballasts are behaving the same. Will not fire 2 bulbs, just 1 96 inch. Not worth the trouble and expense of warranty replacement... Read More
