Pros
It takes some extra time to make the passes however when it get close to a screw it snaps right to it. If the log is not quite round, it isn't quite as accurate. Works for round and square shapes to use on the lathe.
Cons
The center finder was not shipped to me. It was returned for an unknown reason. Something is off on the tool.

Its made from a hard plastic that doesnt flex so a hard hit may do it in

After carefully measuring from several angles on both sides of logs and still finding them offcenter on the lathe i ordered a center finder
