Pros

These are great, but a little tricky to put on in the field. Use a good knot, tied well, and the ring will *not* be the weak link in your line/leader/tippet/fly rig.

Easy to use to attach tippet to my leader without having to cut ly leader every time. Especially for droppers, and get a lot more life out of costly leaders. It not only saves time, but a lot of expensive tapered leaders.

Cons

These latest style from rio are garbage. They are tiny; leaves one wondering why the inflated price-tag. If you are fishing a 2 * rig and one of the flies gets snagged, your line will most likely break at the ring.
