Ridgeback is a heavier more absorbent rug made of natural fibers. One thing i especially love about this mat is the width, it spans the width of my extra wide jade mat with ease. It is unlike any other yoga mat.

I highly recommend buying this yoga rug - it is a game changer! Customer service a+ for answering questions when i emailed them prior to purchase. Would recommend to any yoga practitioner out there!

Use it for any ground workouts. I recommend this for anyone who sweats when doing yoga. It's gorgeous to use and look at, making my practice feel more sacred.

No other mat soaks up the sweat as well. I sweat a lot and the sweat just disappears into this mat.

Cons

I'm a big guy and sweat a lot but it is not a sturdy,rug.
