Pros & Cons
Pros
The straps not only hold the cross bar but the way it is build allows for an extra strap to hold the frames seat post to prevent swinging and rocking while driving. Great two bike rack for family or recreational bike hauling.
Needed it to tilt away for access to hatch. Collapes easily and extends out to open my suv trunk door. When you install the rack it seems as if it will sway but knowing you are going to be carrying some weight on the cradle will prevent swaying.
Cons
This rack sits very high. The holders are too close together. Hard to get a bike on the holder closest to the car.

Remove the 2 allen head bolts they’re tight use a small pipe or wrench for leverage on the receiver end it is holding in a threaded part for the supplied bolt which makes the hole seem small
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Once this piece is removed put the allen head bolts back in and you can put a normal hitch lock thru
