Threading the new sensor wire over to the new board is not hard but you need to remove a small panelshield to get at the wiring as it is threaded through around the corner to the board

First if you have a rheem 2100 from 2003 the controller board is older and you cannot swap out just the lcd which was my problem the lcd had gone bad so i could not tell the temperature
