I'm not too concerned if all i get is 2-3 years on it, i mean, c’mon for the affordability alone its worth it. I am so relieved this saved me a long trip to the nearest apple store.
Easy to install and works well so far. I am confident it will all work out. The battery goes on as mentioned on youtube directions.

The battery drains so quickly, even more so when powered down. The minute i unplug, the computer shuts down.
Lasted 10 months and then totally dead. It's actually worse than the original dead battery. Very very disappointed.

I suspect the differences have to do with apple not focusing on power efficiency of old machines it hopes to replace with new ones

Amazingly customer service reached out and asked if i wanted a full refund and i could still keep the battery

I chose to not accept the refund as i despite the deficiency i did not feel the battery was that bad
