I returned the holster only because my 1911 has a rail and the holster wouldn’t accommodate that

I do need to break this in as it is very tight and i cannot draw my weapon properly asis the manual indicated that this is normal and will loosen up over time

Of course it is too early to speak for the longevity of this item but i feel confident enough to leave this review prematurely as the manufacturer explicitly states that there is a no questions asked returnexchange policy

Be sure to break it in by sliding it in and out maybe 200 times before wearing it that way it molds to your gun

This particular model is designed to fit most 1911 style handguns

Although some of the larger guns can be slipped inside it there is not a tight enough fit to hold these guns when the holster is held upside down
