The book begins simple enough, a team of highly trained cia operators on a rescue mission. It quickly thrusts the characters and the reader into a larger world of intrigue, revenge, and gritty action. Drake is great as former spy turned go-to-agent.
Cons
The author seems to have learned about covert and military ops from movies. Good story and premise, but the author's wikipedia-deep knowledge of weapons, tactics, places (i. E. The us) is too high.
In general the plotting is very tight. What a tired plotline. An odd source of omniscience which is not explained.
