My son broke his after 3 months not electrical failure which is the norm for him and cheapo head phones but the plastic inner rail that links the head band to the ear piece is thin plastic and sheared off right at the joint leaving the right ear piece hanging by the electrical connection

As both sides still work duct tape was used to effect reassembly until such time as a new pair can be procured
