Editafter a few projects i realized one flaw common to this design the constant current mode only kicksin after the energy of the output capacitor is used andor maybe the output capacitor is too big for some purposes

In other words if you set a current limit of only few ma and you short the output youll see sparks flying and then the real low current you want
