This is the only prenatal nutrition book i recommend. I have feelings of frustration and hope at the same time. The book is extensive and covers so many topics related to prenatal nutrition.

    To be honest i have 3 other prenatal recipe books that continue to push these old fashioned guidelines and im likely going to just give them away

    Such a huge bummer because i reference this book constantly and waste so much time flipping through it trying to find the section about chia seeds or iodine or whatever

    The vitamin research was interesting and helpful and it gave some good recipes to incorporate the suggestions but the parts about avoiding processed foods didnt feel like it added anything new

    If you want to save some money the sum of this book is eat fewer carbs sugar and eat more pastureraised eggs grassfed liver and wildcaught fish
