The only drawback is that the clips that hold the book open are not quite sturdy sometimes and the thicker hardback books sometimes do not stay open as they should and sometimes a stand gets off balance and everything falls off

There isnt a lot of room and its hard to do things like typing assignments or other things when you have to keep reaching to pick up the book

It was nice but didn’t use it like i thought i would and i know this is for cookbooks but it worked with regular books just fine

I havent tried it on a book but it seems like it would take a magazine or thin book
