Pros
The friction from the surface cleans the blades well and keeps them from becoming dull or uneven, from which one would normally start to experience some small cuts. This device cleans them the way a razor strop works.
It is simple, elegant and it works. Super easy. It comes with a stand.
Cons
Storage slot wears out razor's lubrication strip. This defeats the purpose of using the razorpit to maintain your razor cartridges. Base unit's storage slots do not fit dollar shave club's 4x handle and razor cartridge containers.

Only reason i cap it at a month is because you start getting a little rust on the blades at that point

Decayrust on the inside of the blade will ruin it beyond the razorpits abilities to keep it sharp

Simply foam up some shaving cream on the surface and push the razor down in the opposite direction you would shave with it repeating about 4 times after each shave session
