There is a telescoping arm and ball-and-socket end makes sure the phone is easily moved to the right position for the driver, and the actual phone grip section easily adjusts to hold/release the phone.

It goes over a lot of very bumpy terrain and so far the suction cup has not give way or let the phone fallthe suction cup is made from an extremely sticky glue type material that you press onto the window then when you flip over the switch it sucks to the glass i can’t imagine it ever letting go.
