Was supposed to be a direct replacement. Compressor runs 100% of the time. Not for walk in fridge. Probably ok for controling a freezer.

After a flooded basement the freezer no longer ran but i knew the enclosed compressor was good so i replaced the capacitor and relay for the motor but still no reliable performance

The sensor wire is attached to the bottom of the freezer

I think the thermostat is designed to operate with the temperature of the freezer section not the fridge
