Pros
It is the same unit the sprinkler company was going to install and charge me $65 more for, plus their labor and any other parts. No complaints at all. Like that it is enclosed in a box to protect against the outside weather.
Replaced an old rc-7bi with this unit. Had to replace my identical controller because of a lightning strike. Does all the things my previous em modular unit did (which was recently killed by a lightening strike), but with a friendlier interface.
Cons
Product arrived as multi colored faceplate version. Keeps losing wifi connection. Had to return all items.

You can opt to just use a standard 110v nema plug to the wall or you can use an external 110vto24vac wall wart
