Without this amplifier, my signals are barely 4-6 (out of 10) bars and some stations were no longer received.

Here is what can be misunderstood about antenna amplifiers: if an over the air hdtv broadcast signal is not being received by your antenna, there is no amplifier that will help you receive or pull in the signal.

I am too far away from erie for any of their tv broadcast signals to reach (even barely reach) my antenna.

There are probably better units out there but this thing is pulling in signals from 60+ miles away on a basic antenna that's in my attic.

The channelmaster unit also died after only 4 months of service, conveniently expiring just after the 90 day warranty period was up.

I tried a winegard antenna with built in preamp that was supposed to work for 60 miles + range and it could not even locate a channel, let alone provide a picture.
