Very impressed with the digital sound quality
While the radio definitely fits a niche market the biggest issue is the software
I think this will be easier as more users purchase the product

You cannot compare this radio to ones that cost 10x more
The price point makes it a bit prohibitive

Youll need to download the latest software package from radioddity
In fact this being the first radioddity product ive gotten i am now looking at the gd77 also for dual band capabilities

It’s difficult to program if you not familiar with programming dmr radios

Beware that it only puts out 2 watts and that may not be enough it certain situation

I’ve found in my situation that working in a very large processing warehouse setting that 2 watts is not enough and that others that are furthest away from me in the building are unable to hear me at times

When installing everything make sure to read the instructions and follow word by word extended manual on their website

Next while in the program and working on the different fields some you cant tab over or move to the next field without the mouse
