My boyfriend loves his gift and guests keep commentjng on how nice it is. It was gifted to my husband during the holidays.

The marbling is absolutely beautiful. It doesn't detract from the game any, it's just a personal preference.

Beautiful marbled green and solid white. The quality of the board itself and the smoothness of the pieces makes it the highest quality of a chess set i have ever seen. The board is heavier than your think, which i really liked. Nice heavy chessboard.
